"Change is always a little scary, even if we are sick and tired of our current situation, or have outgrown it, at least it’s familiar. We can operate within it and negotiate familiar obstacles with relative ease. With any new situation comes new potential for discomfort and loss. Our worst-case scenarios and worrisome “what ifs” can keep us from feeling our way into a better reality." - Dr. Joseph Burgo. --
Fear IS real, but it's NOT an excuse to do nothing and accept things you wish would change. DO IT AFRAID Being afraid won't kill you. It's uncomfortable. It sucks. It's exhausting. That's it. Once you learn to endure during the discomfort, you increase your belief in yourself and your ability and you become more and more comfortable taking necessary risks to get to where you need and want to be.
